§ 36-16. Parking Enforcement Officer.

The Parking Enforcement Officer shall enforce both on-street and off-street parking regulations; direct traffic and perform other duties of a routine traffic detail as may be necessary to facilitate the movement of pedestrian and vehicular traffic; assist in spectator or other crowd control; assist in the searching and processing of prisoners and serve, when necessary, as matron; perform dispatching or related tasks; and perform such other tasks as may be required or directed by the Chief of Police.
